I haven't been able to connect to any servers when on the Verizon 3g
network. I can only connect when using the app in a WiFi zone. Is
there something I am not doing right?

I believe Verizon Wireless blocks IRC over its cell network.

Hmm, used to work great up until a couple weeks ago.
