Troubles Making HDD Clone Bootable

Hello everyone,
I am using XXCLONE-Home (latest version) to clone my windows 7 HDD
(mostly empty) onto a brand new WD Caviar Black 500GB HDD. I tried
using Paragon a while back ago and could not get it bootable, now I am

I used XXCLONE-Home (v2.00.4) to clone a mostly-empty 1 TB drive to a
250 GB drive using backup option #2 (backup the entire volume
incrementally). The software ran for about 2 hours, and closed
automatically at the end of the process without reporting any errors.

Security lost when cloning.

When you clone a Windows hard drive, xxclone does not copy the
security. So just connect it to any computer and anyone can read the
data on it without any authentication. What do you do about this?
I wrote to the support address about this and was told "xxclone
doesn't copy security" and I need to "do it manually". So I get the... more »
