Hi,

If no replica policy is shown in the MRC webinterface, then no default
replication policy is set.

You can set one e.g., using the xtfsutil tool as stated in the quickstart:

> xtfsutil --set-drp --replication-policy WqRq --replication-factor 3 ~/xtreemfs

(see http://www.xtreemfs.org/quickstart_repl.php)

If you use the libxtreemfs for Java client library in your application,
you can also do it there:
http://code.google.com/p/xtreemfs/source/browse/java/servers/src/org/xtreemfs/common/libxtreemfs/Volume.java#575

Best regards,
Michael

Hi,

I done  this configuration  http://www.xtreemfs.org/xtfs-guide-1.3.1/xtfs-guide.html#SECTION00800000000000000000  but  xtreemfs do not work.

This  http://code.google.com/p/xtreemfs/source/browse/java/servers/src/org/xtreemfs/common/libxtreemfs/Volume.java#575  link  also  code  tried.

  public void createFolder(String vname, String fname) throws IOException,
            PosixErrorException, AddressToUUIDNotFoundException {

        volume = client.openVolume(vname, null, options);
        volume.createDirectory(userCredentials, fname, 755);
        volume.setDefaultReplicationPolicy(userCredentials, "/", "WqRq", 2, XATTR_FLAGS.XATTR_FLAGS_CREATE.getNumber());
    }

But  still problem  goes on.
