Is Softimage automatic memory mapped textures, limited to a specific array of image formats or all image formats work ?

AFAIK, it should work for all image formats that Softimage can read.

(Sorry guys for ruining your filter. :p)

it's limited to the image formats mental ray can read, because we launch imf-copy to create the map

Wasn't there a thing that when mentalray doesn't understand a format but Soft does, Soft makes a bitmap that mentalray can understand under the hood? Or am I mixing this up with another renderer?

that works for rendering, but for map auto conversion, what it does is launch the command line imf-copy

Luc-Eric, it does the same thing that the manual imf-copy does, manually, it's a confirm that it works on all image formats including EXR ?

I wasn't sure about this, why I asked.  Others may know, others may not, atleast I don't have to manually convert :)

Thanks Luc & Alan, as always when a solution is solved, I am much appreciated.
