Subject: ICE merge meshes?

Hi,

Is there an ICE compound out there that provides the ability to merge meshes
with UVs, pulling the set of meshes to merge from a group that I can
add/remove meshes from at any time? I'm finding myself wishing that the
built in "merge meshes" command had "add selected", "remove selected" and
"select inputs" commands/buttons but an ICE solution for simple merging with
UVs would be good enough for me.

I'm not sure how exactly I would set that up myself but I think it can be
done so I thought I'd ask around. Any tips or suggestions appreciated,
thanks.

Merging Meshes with ICE could be easily done like this:
(See screenshot)

The Problem may be merging the UVs... the Build in "Merge Texture
Projections"-Compund didnt work in my quick Test. So i did another try...
but this seems also to fail.
(Maybe Fabricio Chamon's " "Bake ICE UVs
Script<https://dl.dropbox.com/u/17263464/Blog/Scripts/bake_ICE_UVs.rar>"
could help)

Seems like you ust have to "subtract" the own kine.global to get the
""closestLocation-Node" to Work..

No need for all that. Just use the 'Merge texture projections' compound and
it'll merge the desired projections into an ICE UVs attribute.

It may not be what you want but until you find a working ICE version you
could try this:

A simple addon I wrote in JScript and use a lot. It works pretty fine with
envelopes and uvs. Not so much with shape animation.
