Nice, incidentally, one of my TD Team member is working on the exact same plugin, it has other sanity checks also , it will be cool for him to go through implementation, nice work Brad.
BTW, I just tested it out and noticed that if you create a sphere
polymesh, and don't freeze it, it won't pick up on the default "geometry"
operator that sets the divisions, etc.
It only registers the operator if you add, say, a deform operator, and
then delete it again, because that action creates the construction history
dividers (modelling, shape modelling, animation, etc.), whereas before
they didn't exist.
Is that by design or is it just an oversight?

Personally, I think it would be nice to have a checkbox option to enable
this, at least in the Custom Operator Search option, but that's just me.
Don't know what everyone else feels about this.
