quote Remon Georgy (22.10.2008):

Hi Remon,

nice to hear from you and welcome to the xOperator team :-) Today, all xOp
developers are based in Leipzig / Germany, so you are the first one
outside of our research group (aksw.org).

Nearly all wet work was done by Jörg. Jörg is master student here and
xOperator is his master thesis. Michael and Sebastian H. are both
collegues and supporters here at AKSW and I am a little bit of a project
coordinator.

So if you want to participate, Jörg will answer you every question about
this. Maybe you can explain us, in which kind of dev work you are
interested? We plan to release xOperator 0.2 in the last October days, so
we need testers and bug fixers. After that release, we can plan the next
version but for now, we are feature freeze.

Hi Remon,

so i just want to introduce myself and sketch the further xOperator
development a little bit. As Sebastian said, i am writing my Msc
thesis about the development of the xOperator and i am attached to the
aksw working group here in Leipzig.
The development of the xOperator is planned to go beyond what is
already implemented, although at the very moment i am cleaning up what
is already implemented.
So if you want to participate, i'd suggest you to download one of our
prereleases: http://xoperator.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/xOperator-javadoc/prerelease/xOperator-0.2-SNAPSHOT.zip

Giving it try would be appreciated, i am especially interested in what
problems you had starting it. Please file complaints in our
bugtracker: http://code.google.com/p/xoperator/issues/list, our just
write me an email, or ask via chat (the googlemail account is just
fine).

If you want to extend the xOperator, feel free to do so, i'd be happy to help.

Jörg

Hey there,
Thanks guys for your welcome, sure I'll be testing the aforementioned
pre-release seeing if I could figure out any problems,

Remon
