no cyrillic titles in collection

After full scan of my collection some titles with cyrillic (from
russian bands) does not appear in collection list :(

No, i'm using 0.1.31 release (wait for my distro update vala to 0.15
to buuild git version).
It's strange but xnoise shows me some Japanse songs with kanji but do
not shows cyrillic

Do you need sample file in 0.1.31 situation ? :)

since 0.1.31 release there have been some fixes in the utf-8 handling of
strings in the database, concerning string comparing, sorting and
importing in general.
So chances are good that your issue is already fixed...

No, there is the release version from here:
https://github.com/shuerhaaken/xnoise/downloads

and there is git version that includes the changes that were made since
the 0.1.31 release:
git clone git://github.com/shuerhaaken/xnoise.git

thats one i cant compile now for my vala older that 0.15

I will provide a pre-release version later today. You will be able to
compile it without vala.

Here is an interims version of xnoise. You should be able to compile
without an up-to-date vala installation:
http://www.xnoise-media-player.com/xnoise-0.1.31.990.tar.bz2

Compile with

./configure
make
sudo make install

Everybody else is also invited to test!
