Quick question about Email Provider in XMPie

HI ,

I am trying to integrate New Email Provider with XMPie. My
questions are

1. Does XMPie generates batch ( say 1000) Html Content's and
recipient's and send all the emails in batch or
XMPie generates one Html Content and recipient and send email to that
recipient and again generate next Html Content and send email like
sequentially.


I am trying to come up better design when integrating New Email
Provider with XMPie so that sending 10000 emails does not drag XMPie
performance drastically.

Any comments/suggestions are appreciated.

Use batching, that will be significantly more optimal than 1-1
generation-transmission.

The bottom line is that it really depends on the API of the service
provider to which you are trying to integrate. If they have a batching
API, use it. If not, then your kinda stuck with 1-1.

No, that is not how it works. This is managed via the ESP plugin under the hood - the whole point is that its transparent to the user.
