Does anyone have any more information about the new Email services
offered from XMPie? I've read the press release, just looking for
some feedback on this compares to ET, or if it in fact is an ET
integration with its own price structure.
Thanks!

The new service is in fact ET with its own price structure...way more expensive when you look at it.

Is the integration deeper do you know?

My opinion?
After I looked at some documents, it was a lot more confusing and a lot more expensive
to use the XMPIE service.

Interesting.

The costs should actually be less than ET on small to medium volumes,
as XMPie are effectively buying-in-bulk and selling on. You also do
not have as high one-off setup charges through the XMPie service.

Using the XMPie service also allows you to set up multiple accounts
under one login - so you can manage email volume across your own
clients independently.

I had some customers also think the XMPie Email Services were
expensive. Turned out they were not comparing apples with apples. It
would be wise to talk with your XMPie Sales Rep to make sure you are
getting the right cost. (As you suggest, it is confusing.)

XMPie Email Service pricing is considerably lower than ExactTarget
prices. This is most significant in the Small and Medium plans. I
invite you to make the comparison yourself. Customers can obtain the
XMPie Email Service prices by clicking “Learn More”, and then
“Subscribe Today” in the http://www.xmpie.com/emailservice web page.
If after reading both prices you somehow reach a different conclusion,
I invite you to contact me (reply to author).
In addition XMPie Email Service also gives you the peace of mind
knowing that you bought an account that is already pre-configured and
tested to integrate smoothly with your Personal Effect system.
With that said, I want to emphasize here that XMPie Email Service is
tightly integrated with PersonalEffect and if a customer would want to
reserve the option to launch emails from outside of the Personal
Effect environment, he should purchase a plan directly from
ExactTarget - with their higher pricing model.
