Hi Guys!

First of all, many thanks for the brain sharing, its amazing how much
I've learnt from you.

Well, I use XP, PC, with CS3 suite. Im on Udirect 4.6.1 build 4173 and
working with images on Uimage.
I'm able to export one record at a time from Indesign, but when I try
to use the dynamic print command, I get the error as per attachment,
saying there's a font missing. I've converted all my fonts from the
static elements into curves but keeps on giving me the same error:

"A problem occurred during Production.
Information:

Print Production
Medium
The font could not be processed (print representation may not be
created), as a result the job will be aborted.
Please contact the font provider, or use the Find Font tool from the
Type menu to replace it with another one."

Any ideas why?
I've attached some sc under calendar 1-2-3

I am reading properly your screenshot "calendar+2.jpg"? It looks like
there are two space characters between the word "font" and the word
"could" in the error message.

As if XMPie found a font with ***no name*** (as far as I remember, the
usual message is "the font xxx could not be processed").

Perhaps you could start a new document from scratch, copy/paste your
InDesign text blocks step by step, to track the one, which contains
the object which XMPie does not like.

Or, on the opposite, try to delete text blocks step by step, until the
error no longer occurs.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for answering, much appreciated.
Its true, it seems to say that it has a problem with a font that
doesnt exist, there's no text involved whatsoever on Indesign.
There's an illustrator linked file (that has all font outlined as
well) Can this be the issue.
Thanks for the help!

Ernesto.

I don't think it's a known issue...

There was some issue with fonts in v4.6.1 where uProduce could report
a missing font when actually all fonts were there ok - also despite
the warning message, all output would appear perfectly correct.

Since your output fails, it does not sound like the same issue, but I
would recommend upgrading to the latest version to confirm.

If the problem is still there after upgrading, I suggest sending your
file to XMPie support to have a closer look at what is going on with
it.

On second thoughts, the issue I remembered in v4.6.1 was a spurious
warning about missing assets - not fonts... sorry about that.
