Gantt Charts

Hi

Just started using Pro

Now I am hoping that the Gantt chart feature is more of a feature than
it looks like at the moment.

So here is the question Is it possible to get a little more colour in
the Gantt chart. When I right click on a bar I see properties but
nothing happens when I click it. Also can you at least get the topics
and sub topics in a right hand column.

On of the reasons I went for pro is of the Gantt chart feature I am
hoping that it is a little more presentable than the greyscale that it
is ATM.

Hi Tony 

That feature should be called Gantt View instead of Gantt Chart. Because Gantt View is used with TaskInfo together. 

In taskinfo, you can add start/end date/time, priority, process to a task.(in the coming update, you can add people). 

Then, in Gantt View, all these tasks will be shown as bars. While you hover the mouse on a bar, you can see its taskinfo.

This view can not be printed, or exported.

Hi,

it would be very nice to omit weekends to count only working days for
task duration.

omit weekend? good idea. But the people in east asia may not like that. because they often work on weekend. :( like us.

The obvious question is "what is a weekend".
Count only working days could be a function
with parameters that instruct the gantt view
what to count.

It should then work for east, west and even middle!

I know what you mean. Adding some more features like draggable bars
similar to the JCVGantt plugin for mindmanager would be amazing. Any
chance of putting some of these features on a roadmap? (For that
matter, is there a feature request voting system somewhere?)

Hi

I just upgraded to PRO and im desperately missing the following
features for my project management tasks:

- Working days / hours and holiday schedule
- Task info (checkbox) on all exports to PDF, Word, HTML etc...
(everything else seems to be present!) - this is a MUST!
- Task info (view) on mind map so one can see the resources / task /
duration - also a MUST!
- Dependencies. perhaps link this with relationships, similar in
mindjet mindmanager.
- Print/Export Gantt view! is this possible because i didnt find a
way...
- MPX Export... though if the features above are present.. there
would be no need ;)

Great software though, keep up the good work!

Gantt view without export option is absolutely useless !!!

I payed for the pro version and now I can't export the gantt diagrams.

If I had known this before, I would not have bought the pro version.
