Please do following to let your XMind run fluently.
Open App Package's "Contents/MacOS" folder;
Use text editor to open "XMind.ini" file;
Add a new line in the end, and the content is: -
Djava.awt.headless=true

I have the same problem, same configuration. Xmind 3.
There is no Xmind.ini, but a config.ini. I added the line,
nothing happened.. it still is freezing afert opening.
please help!
