Hi!

I very want to try your XMIND but get the following errors when trying
to launch in my Fedora 8 64-bit:

[vlad@IRON xmind]$ ./xmind

My enviroment:

[vlad@IRON xmind]$ ldconfig -p | grep libgnomebreakpad.so
libgnomebreakpad.so (libc6,x86-64) => /usr/lib64/gtk-2.0/
modules/libgnomebreakpad.so

[vlad@IRON xmind]$ java -version

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_05-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 10.0-b19, mixed mode)

[vlad@IRON xmind]$ uname -a
Linux IRON 2.6.24.4-64.fc8 #1 SMP Sat Mar 29 09:15:49 EDT 2008 x86_64

I tried to use 32-bit java machine - it shows the splash picture end
crashed with a message to see the log. Here is this log:

Doest it all mean that XMIND not run under 64-bit linux?

I've managed how to run XMIND using 32-bit Sun JRE on 64-bit Fedora.

Just analyzing the first error in the log I've found this link when
googling:

http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2042&context=SSRTLW&dc=DB520&dc=DB560&uid=swg21271865&loc=en_US&cs=UTF-8&lang=en&rss=ct2042rational

Than I've installed 32-bit firefox:

# yum install firefox.i386

And set the proper env:
$ export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/firefox-2.0.0.13
$ export MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/usr/lib/firefox-2.0.0.13

And run XMIND:

$ ./xmind

Everything seems to be ok for this moment, except:
1. I've not seen the text when first start and the tutorial violet
window appears. The text only appears if a move cursor on it... But
it's not very important for me.
2. Drag and drop pictures from web into the workspace is not working
like in presentation.

I'll continue the tests and if the program works properly I'll order
it.

I installed the 32bit version of Firefox (I launch it with
"firefox32") and tried setting the variables like you said there, but
it still crashes. Do you know how to make it not use "firefox" (which
is the 64bit one) and "firefox32" instead?

I'm on Ubuntu 8.04.

I guess that the reason not in firefox binaries, but in 32-bit firefox
libraries.
Do you really use 32-bit java. Please, describe all your steps
sequentially when trying to launch XMIND.

What is in your XMIND log file?

Do you really have
