XM Radio's Bob Edwards Named 2004 Radio Hall of Fame Inductee

WASHINGTON, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Veteran radio journalist Bob
Edwards of XM Satellite Radio (Nasdaq: XMSR - News), the nation's leading
provider of satellite radio with more than 2.1 million subscribers, has been
selected for induction into the Radio Hall of Fame. Edwards is one of five
broadcasters selected to be part of the 2004 class. His new morning program
"The Bob Edwards Show" will air exclusively on XM Radio on the new XM Public
Radio channel (XM Channel 133) beginning October 4.

Bob Edwards, who also has received the prestigious Edward R. Murrow and
Peabody awards, will be officially inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in
Chicago, Ill. on November 6 during an evening ceremony.
