Dear David, Jonathan and all,

I will attending Code4Lib Conference in Seattle.
If you have a few time, would you like talking about status of xerxes
2.0 in c4l conf.?

I would be happy to, although I haven't been involved in Xerxes very
much lately -- still using it, but haven't done much writing of code for
it in a year or so. I am not sure if David is going to be there, if
he's not, it might not be too useful for just you and I to meet, I
probably don't know too much more than you do.

I will be at Code4Lib next week, as will John Wynstra, one of our other committers.

Some others have also expressed an interest in getting together, so I think we should! I'd be more than happy to discuss my plans, as well as the work I've done to date, on Xerxes 2.

In the meantime, I've resurrected by blog in an attempt to start communicating some that:

Dear,

Thank you for kindly response!
Should we have a meeting about Xerxes 2 at "Breakout Sessions" or
other time in c4l conf?

I have a plan that is integration with holding information in ILS.
Now, our agent survey how to implement xerxes 2 and ILS with NCIP or other.

I'm looking forward to meet you and the xerxes developers.

Regards,

Breakout sessions seems like a good time for it!

I'll set one up, then.

I think there will be a board or something for that? It's been awhile since I've been to Code4lib.

I'll plan on attending this.  I'm also hoping to attend a breakout session on vufind if that happens.  I see that there are two breakout session times.  Xerxes is in production at my institution, vufind is not--so Xerxes wins if there is a conflict.  Also Xerxes is a cooler name than vufind.  What can be said about that.
