Hi there,

Very happy to have just discovered xdotool, as it looks like a viable successor to the unmaintained xmacro and wmctrl which I have relied on for years.

However, there appear to be 31 open bugs at

and 5 open issues at

I'm guessing that this is in part due to the lack of information on

about how to contribute to development or even access the latest source code repository.  I'm guessing that the github repository linked above is the latest official repository (it shows most recent activity 4 months ago) - is that right?  If so, I think it would be a big help to link this from the home page.  github of course makes it easy to do friendly forks, which means that the project maintainer doesn't need to be a bottleneck for development.

Thanks,
Adam

P.S. the home page should also mention that xdotool can be easily installed on openSUSE via 'zypper install xdotool'.

Thanks!

I've been slack on reparing problems with my current hosting site; will probably move the site soon which should resolve these problems (like the xdotool page not existing)

I notice http://www.semicomplete.com/projects/xdotool/ is back up now, however AFAICS it doesn't contain a single link to the github project!  So there are still effectively two issue trackers, and most people won't have a clue where to get the latest development code, or how to contribute.  PLEASE fix this ASAP or xdotool will die a horrible slow death due to any potential contributors being starved of the right information!  It should only take a few minutes.
