Dumb question about timezones

Just want to make sure that when you enter the appropriate offset for
your timezone (eg Pacific is -8) that all times used to label charts
and plots are standard time (eg Pacific Standard Time) and that no
correction has been made by the software for the fact that we're on
daylight savings time.
