Screensaver

Hello everybody
I'm a big time fan of XaoS and would love use it as a screensaver for
windows
I'm a bit of a noob here but I allready managed to create a kind of
scr :
two .bat files :
-one looping, loading xaos with a random example each time (loops when
you close xaos)
-one checking the time and killing xaos every two minutes or something
It works. I even converted the .bat to .exe, then to .scr to actually
use it as a screensaver
But really it's not a legit screensaver that could be used in any real
way
Hasn't the idea crossed anyone else's mind ?

I only recently became aware of XaoS and downloaded it to my PC.

 

I am very impressed with the ability to zoom through a fractal.

I love showing the application to non-technical, non-computer types.

They are always wowed by the beautiful zooming in Autopilot mode,

and ask how do they do that?

"It's all done with mathematics" I say - don't think they could understand

a more detailed explanation.

 

The idea of creating a screensaver that would work in Windows is a great one.

Sounds like you have gotten a good start on that. I would like to know more

about what you have done.

 

Perhaps they may include the ability to create a screensaver in a future release

of the program.
