I am trying to build the binaries of version 3.4 and have been running
into issues. I run the configure script and it tells me I lack the
drivers it requires, which where GSL and NASM. I installed NASM which
was one, then I built GSL 1.9 (latest version) from the command line.
I received no errors after building GSL, however, running the xaos
configure script still said I didn't have GSL installed. Any ideas on
what I might be doing wrong? Thanks for your help in advance!

Dear Derek,

I tried the same (also 3.5) on my Ubuntu 12.04 (x86_64) and I had no problems.
I just followed the instructions in the INSTALL file (I installed all prerequisites
by using "apt-get build-dep xaos").

Could you please provide the output of the run of the configure script?

Thanks, Zoltan
