XAM Status and Upcoming Activities:

The XAM program has successfully completed significant milestones since Spring SNW:

• The FCAS TWG has completed the errata for XAM v1.0.1 and is beginning the process for ANSI & ISO standardization.
• The XAM SDK TWG has completed the Reference VIM for the XAM SDK and is working on completing the HTTP VIM to make the XAM SDK compliant to XAM v1.0.1. Download the latest release at Interim Release of the XAM SDK.
• The XAM Initiative has completed the Idea Contest for the TopCoder coding challenge and the winners were announced at the TopCoder event on June 4, 2009.
• The XAMI is preparing to launch the Prototype Contest in late July. For more information for the contest and to register please go to XAM Prototype Coding Competition.
• Planning is underway by XAMI for the SDC in September. The XAMI will be sponsoring XAM developer training, Hands on Lab and plugfest at SDC. For more information on SDC please go to Storage Developers Conference.
