.. Over Northeast North Carolina ..
National Weather Service doppler radar indicates a line of strong storms
from central Northampton County south to central Edgecombe county,
moving east at around 20 MPH. This line of storms is about to enter
western portions of Area 7.
Persons in the path of these storms should be alert for deteriorating
weather conditions and prepare for gusty winds and small hail. Heavy
rain is also occurring with these storms.
.. Spotter Activation Outlook ..
Spotter activation is not expected, but Spotters are always encouraged
to report significant weather to the National Weather Service in
accordance with established reporting criteria.
.. Communications Team Action Message ..
Ham radio net activation is not expected. Net Controllers are
encouraged to monitor designated SKYWARN frequencies to handle any stray
reports which might be called in via amateur radio.
