Hi all.
In case anyone is having trouble getting reliable news server
access, might I recommend using the free and public
News.cis.dfn.de
which offers an account to anyone with an e-mail address.
Load that address into your browser, and you'll be directed to the
registration pages - it took a couple of days for mine to be verified,
but the service is reliable - I know quite a few people
( in various countries ) who prefer it to their own ISP's News service.
And there's always the news archives at deja.com.
