In the AUI demo (or my code), if using the Carbon build, once an item has
been pulled off, it cannot be re-docked. Open the wxAUI Sample, and grab
the "Tree Pane" to pull it off. Release. Now try to put it back. The
blue box that should show where it will go will not appear anywhere.

Apologies - it works fine in the Carbon build. It fails in the Cocoa
build.

Some close problems I observed before when I tried AUI on Cocoa (on Carbon
it worked) on earlier versions (2.9.0 may be).
So it looks like docking didn't work correct before on Cocoa!

ok, found the real rason - an optimisation for systems which send a
continuos flow of moving events - has to be turned off for OSX,

please test with r71032
