Release of Intel Compiler patch fo cutting-edge performance of wxWidgets

Foreword: I know cross-posting is not welcome, but wxWidgets
documentation says cross-posting is allowed when it is an announcement.

I want to let you know I have released wxWidgets 2.9.4 (official
release) patched for Intel Compiler (sometimes called as and
abbreviation: ICC or ICL; later just as ICC) for cutting-edge
performance running on Intel CPU.

If you are using ICC, you can clone my Github GIT repository.

Please, if you need stable release, download or clone tag
“wx_official_release_version_2.9.4” (which is patched for ICC), and it's
download URL is:

1. as a .zip package:

2. as a .tar.gz tarball package:

If you decide to not download patched 2.9.4 version from upstream
(wxWidgets developer community), and want to have up-to-date ICC-patched
trunk from SVN, just clone the whole GIT repository. I will update whole
GIT repository from time to time (e.g. once a day or maybe weekly), in
regards of SVN commits of wxWidgets, with cutting-edge performance
patched sources for ICC.

Support:
Due to lack of my time time and my interest, I only support Microsoft
Visual Studio 2010 project configured to use ICC 12.1, wxWidgets DLL
build. I am using x64 build in production environment, but you should be
able to compile and get it working in x86 profile (32-bit), though I
have not tested this configuration due to lack of time and my interest.
I plan to migrate to ICC 13.0, but as long as it is at the moment in
beta phase, there were problems with it.
I can provide only limited support, so if you need support not regarding
wxWidgets library, but regarding my patched sources for ICC, please drop
me an e-mail. If you need support regarding wxWidgets functionality,
please use project's mailing lists (wx-users and wx-dev at Google
groups, literally @googlegroups.com).
