NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Come out to WWP’s Got Talent on June 2nd at 7:30 pm at Grover Middle
School. Tickets will be sold this week and next week during lunch.
Dinner will be included with the ticket price.

The June 2nd Dodgeball Tournament is still accepting sign-ups until
Monday. Please try and bring your team sheet and money in by
tomorrow, Friday. All proceeds will go to benefit Habitat for
Humanity and Kids for Kids. The sign-up table is in front of the
playhouse during lunch.

Attention Red Cross Club – Our last meeting of the school year is
Wednesday, May 30th at 3:00 in T-2. Elections will be held for new
Red Cross Officers.

Reminder – Go to “Charmed by Claire” in Cranbury today from
10:00-8:00pm and buy some great things and benefit Post Prom 2012 at
the same time!

REPEAT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Come to Relay For Life on Friday night from 7pm-1am in the gym. If
you have not yet signed up, registration is a $20.00 donation at the
door. All proceeds benefit American Cancer Society.

There will be a Mandatory South Football Booster Club meeting for all
current and prospective football players and parents. (This includes
eighth grade boys interested in playing football next year at South)
The meeting will be on June 5th at 7:30 in C-2 at HS South.

SENIOR PROM FLOWER SALE – Sale dates will be Friday, June 1st and
Monday and Tuesday, June 4th and 5th during lunchtime in the Senior
Hallway. Beautiful corsages and boutonnieres of all colors and styles
from McCaffrey’s will available for sale to complement your prom
attire! Prices range from $5.00 to $10.00 for boutonnieres and $17.50
to $32.50 for corsages. Flowers must be paid for at the time or order
– CASH ONLY. Pick up of flowers will be Friday, June 8th at 12:05 in
the Senior Hallway.

There will be a Pirate Player’s Directors meeting in the pit today,
Thursday, May 24th during lunch to discuss end of the year pizza
party.

Seniors – please check with the main office to see if you have any
outstanding obligations. Outstanding obligations can be textbooks,
uniforms, etc. not returned in your previous years or this year at
South. Your cap and gown will be held until all obligations are
fulfilled. AlLL SENIOR OBLIGATIONS MUST BE PAID IN CASH ONLY.

All Reflections participants who have not yet picked up their awards
and entries should come to the main office to receive their
certificates.

The PTSA is looking for a few parents who may be interested in helping
with the following committees: Membership, Graduation DVD and Mini-
grants. If you’d like to get involved at South please email Kathy
Farrell @ kathyof...@gmail.com. She can give you more information
about what these committees entail. Thanks for your consideration.

CHARMED BY CLAIRE SHOPPING DAY – THURSDAY, MAY 24TH! Please support
Post Prom 2012 and attend the Charmed by Claire Shopping Day today,
Thursday, May 24th from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Charmed by Claire is
located at 33 North Main Street in Cranbury, N.J. and carries such
popular brands as Vera Bradley, Pandora, Brighton and now has Alex &
Ani Bracelets! There are many fabulous promotions going on, so come
on in and get your graduation gifts. A percentage of the sales will
be donated to Post Prom 2012, so don’t forget to stop by and MENTION
POST PROM!

Track Banquet and Fundraiser is Wednesday, June 13th at 6PM in the
South commons. Please join us for food, fun and presentations. Track
team members go free, family members are $10-pay at door or in
advance. Please RSVP that you are coming so we have lots of food.

If you are interested in submitting a proposal for a student-run club
for the 2012-2013 school year, all applications must be turned in to
Mrs. Nini by May 31st. An application packet is available in the main
office. If you have already submitted a new proposal that has yet to
be approved, you do not need to resubmit an application. Students who
are invited to present their proposals to representatives from Student
Council will be notified by June 4th. This will be the only
opportunity to submit a proposal for next year.

Attention freshman our annual picnic is May 31st, tickets are $10.00.
Come out to enjoy Rita’s and the opportunity to pie your class council
officers.

Fall sports packets are now being accepted in the nurses office.
Check to see if your physical is up to date. All packets must be
turned in by June 1st. Packets are available to download on the
district website under “Athletics”.

Attention Class of 2012 – Don’t forget to order your GRADUATE LAWN
SIGN. These can be proudly displayed on your front lawn to celebrate
your graduate’s success at High School South. They are also
wonderful to attach balloons to for graduation parties and for
Senior Prom pictures. All orders MUST BE RECEIVED no later than May
16th and will be available for pick up beginning on May 30th. Order
forms are on the Post Prom website: www.hsspostprom.org, and in the
main office.

Senior Graduation DVD – WWPHSS PTSA is proud to team up with
CEREMONY FILMS for an unprecedented coverage of the Graduation
Ceremony and Prom & Post Prom!! We are offering a complete 2 DVD set
with all the greatest highlights from all of these events. The
videographer will memorialize important and candid moments from these
3 big events, without getting in the way of the experience itself.
The events will be recorded with high-end, Canon XL2 video camcorders
and edited with professional post production software. The DVD set
costs $40.00 and is available to preorder online now at

You may also pick up a flyer in the edition of Pirate News and Views
or in the HS main office and place the form in the PTSA mailbox.

If you would like to make a donation to Post Prom 2012, please make
your check payable to WWPHS South and include Post Prom 2012 on the
memo line. Donations may be mailed to Gail Campbell, Post Prom
Treasurer, 2 Stonewall Drive, W. Windsor, NJ 08550. You may also
leave donations in the Post Prom mailbox in the main office at the
High School. Thank you in advance for your generosity!.

Remember to support Post Prom 2012. Please bring in your McCaffrey’s
receipts and put them in the black and white striped box located in
front of Tracy Jones’ desk in the office.

Seniors – Remember to check the Guidance Bulletin board to view the
listing of ALL colleges that will be visiting this year.
