Youth Teaching Youth applications are due this week to Ms. Bozian in
room 402.

The Junior State of America will be having a Winter Congress
Preparation meeting this Thursday in T-3.  Be prepared to debate your
bills!.

REPEAT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

All Students going on todays’ field trip to McCarter Theater should
meet in the commons at 9:45am.  Please bring a brown bag lunch and
money to buy a snack.

Attention Sophomores:  Tickets for our sophomore class dinner on Feb.
24th will go on sale Feb. 13th.  Come support your class with a night
full of good food, games, music and Pirate Basketball.

Sophomores – please vote today, Wednesday, during lunch in C-3 for
students who have applied to be Sophomore Peer Leaders.  Your vote is
important!.

Attention  Seniors going to Disney – Any Senior who will need
medication on the trip must hand in the required paperwork by
Wednesday, Feb. 15th to the Nurses’ office.

All girls planning on trying out for the golf team should attend an
informational meeting today, Wed., Feb. 8th in the pit at 3pm.  Any
questions see Mrs. Walsh in guidance.

The deadline for yearbook parent ads has been extended to Feb. 15th.
Please remind your parents to give their ads to Mrs. Marinsky in the
library or order it online at balfour.com

Any Junior interested in a Senior Option internship next year, please
see Mr. Garzio or their guidance counselor.

This month only, submit artwork and writing to the Echoes Winter
Submit-a-thon for a chance to win a $30.00 Barnes and Noble gift
card.  Submissions can be placed in the box in the library or sent to
echoes.so...@gmail.com.

Come join us on Feb. 12th at the Concert Band Past Dinner!  Offered at
two times, 4:30 and 6:30pm, you will be fed a delicious dinner,
receive live entertainment by the HSS  Concert Bands and small
ensembles and partake in a gift basket raffle if you choose…all for
$15.00.  All proceeds benefit the HSS Concert Band Program.  If you
are interested in purchasing a ticket, ask any band student or see Ms.
Carraher in the band room.  Bring your friends and family for an
excellent time guaranteed.

Spring Sports will start on or around March 2nd, 2012.  Permission
packets are now being accepted and may be downloaded from the district
website.  Check with the nurse for updated physical eligibility.

Remember to support Post Prom 2012.  Please bring in your McCaffrey’s
receipts and put them in the black and white striped box located in
front of Tracy Jones’ desk in the office.
