NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Auditions coming up soon! –
“WW-P’s Got Talent “ will take place on Saturday, June 2nd. This is a
talent show that will feature student performers of all ages. The
event is sponsored by the WW-P Education Foundation, which raises
funds to support grants for teachers and innovative programs.
Auditions will take place May 2nd, 3rd and 4th from 6 – to 9 p.m. at
the Grover Middle School. Register to audition at the Education
Foundation web site (www.wwpeducationfoundation.org) by Monday, April
30, 2012
Attention Pirates – Do you want to be part of breaking a Guinness Book
World Record? There are only 3 weeks left to learn how to solve a
Rubik’s Cube. The meetings are Thursday nights, 6pm, at HS North in
their lower dining hall. See you there.

Attention All Pirates – Don’t forget to buy your tickets during lunch
in the Student Council Store for Mr. South! It will be this Friday at
7:00pm in the playhouse. See you there!.
The Red Cross Spring blood Drive is scheduled for this Friday, April
27th in the new gym. Forms are in the library. Please sign-up and
donate.
“Race To Nowhere” screening – High School South’s PTSA will be hosting
a showing of the film, “Race to Nowhere” on Thursday, April 26th from
7pm – 9pm at HS South, in the new theater. The screening is open to
all members of our district community, including students over 13, at
no charge, but registration is required. Registration information is
available on the HS South PTSA website: http://southptsa.org/.
POST PROM SPRING BOUTIQUE SALE – Support HS South Post Prom 2012 and
attend their Spring Boutique Sale on Sunday, April 29th from 12pm –
6pm. It will be held at 3 Shelley Court in W. Windsor. Bring your
friends! There will be designer denim and clothing, cosmetics, home
gift items, cash for gold, and much, much more. Also, order your
WWPHS South 2012 Graduate Lawn Signs there as well! All sales are
CASH or CHECK only. Any questions, call 609-731-5073.
Come to the Hoagie Haven Post Prom Fundraiser on Friday, May 4th from
9am to Midnight! Hoagie Haven is located at 242 Nassau Street,
Princeton, 609-921-7723. 15% of proceeds will go towards 2012 Post
Prom when you bring the flyer. Flyers are available in the main
office.
Pirate Boys Booster Lacrosse Bake Sale is all week after school in
C-2. Go get some pizza, pretzels, and all kinds of good stuff.
Support the Pirates Boys Lacrosse booster!
Anyone interested in trying out for Fall Cheerleading will need to
attend a meeting on April 30th at 3:15 in C-3.
Attention Seniors –Senior Prom Tickets are on sale this week during
lunch. Tickets are $50.00. You must have a signed contract before
you can purchase your ticket. Contracts are available in the main
office.
The SAT is right around the corner, but on April 28th and 29th, you
can learn everything you need to know to outsmart the test! After
Catalyst’s SAT Bootcamp here at High School South, you’ll know how to
write a perfect essay for any question they ask, how to avoid the
biggest answer traps and how to tackle every type of question that’s
guaranteed to be on the test! Just jump on www.CatalystPrep.com and
click on “Bootcamp Sign-Up” to enroll in this PTSA sponsored event.

your check payable to WWPHS South and include Post Prom 2012 on the
memo line. Donations may be mailed to Gail Campbell, Post Prom
Treasurer, 2 Stonewall Drive, W. Windsor, NJ 08550. You may also
leave donations in the Post Prom mailbox in the main office at the
High School. Thank you in advance for your generosity!.
SOPHOMORES: High School South PTSA is offering a free practice PSAT
on Monday, May 7th and Tuesday, May 8th from 7pm-9:30pm, fun by
Kaplan. Choose your night. Free to student PTSA members, non-members
must pay $6.00. Held at South in the 600 area. Results will be
emailed with a personalized phone feedback session. To enroll, fill
out a form in the main office or visit our website at www.southptsa.org
to download the form. Questions? Email Jessic...@me.com.
Remember to support Post Prom 2012. Please bring in your McCaffrey’s
receipts and put them in the black and white striped box located in
front of Tracy Jones’ desk in the office.
Seniors – Remember to check the Guidance Bulletin board to view the
listing of ALL colleges that will be visiting this year.
