Attention Juniors – looking for a great leadership and volunteer
opportunity for your senior year?  Apply to be a peer health educator
on the HiTops Teen Council.  Applications are in guidance and are due
Feb. 29th.

Listen Up Pirates!  Next week is our Winter spirit Week.  On
Wednesday, wear college gear to earn points for your class.

South is trying to sponsor an endangered animal, but we need your help
with deciding which one!  Will it be a bengal tiger, polar bear or red
panda?  Come out to C-1 during lunch and vote!

REPEAT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Please support the upcoming Post Prom clothing drive on March 10th
from 8AM to 2PM.  All soft goods such as: clothing, blankets, linens,
towels, draperies, shoes, stuffed animals, soft luggage, purses, etc.
will be collected.  No electronics or plastic toys will be accepted.
Drop off in the front parking lot by the science wing.  All proceeds
from the sale of collected items will benefit Post Prom.

The Annual Post Prom Pickleball Tournament will be held Saturday
night, Feb. 25th.  Sign-up with Mr. Hutchinson before the end of the
day on Friday, Feb. 24th.

Attention Baseball Players – There will be a meeting today, Thursday
at 11:15 in the new gym for anyone interested in playing this year.

The March of Dimes Valentine’s Day Photo Booth will be the entire
week.  Take a picture with a friend in front of an amazing Valentine’s
Day backdrop anytime during lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Pictures are only $3.00 and they will be returned to you after being
developed and framed.  Please support this great cause.

Come support the Varsity Boys and Girls Fencing Team and buy some
great food at the after school bake sale all this week.

Advance Broadcasting Writing applications are now available at the
Broadcasting Website, at Mr. Allison's’ Website and in room 500A.

There will be a Boys Volleyball meeting in the pit during lunch today,
Feb. 16th.

The deadline for yearbook parent ads has been extended to Feb. 15th.
Please remind your parents to give their ads to Mrs. Marinsky in the

Any Junior interested in a Senior Option internship next year, please
see Mr. Garzio or their guidance counselor.

Spring Sports will start on or around March 2nd, 2012.  Permission
packets are now being accepted and may be downloaded from the district
website.  Check with the nurse for updated physical eligibility.

Remember to support Post Prom 2012.  Please bring in your McCaffrey’s
receipts and put them in the black and white striped box located in
front of Tracy Jones’ desk in the office.

listing of ALL colleges that will be visiting this year.
