Relay for Life will have its Kick-off meeting on Monday, Jan. 30th
during the second half of lunch in the playhouse.
The Junior State of America will be having a meeting after school
tomorrow in T-3.

The Pirate’s Eye is selling Valentines during lunch in the senior
commons for just $1.00. You can write a secret message to someone and
have it published in the Valentine’s Day issue.
Seniors! You have until Friday, Feb. 3rd, to turn your parent ads in!
Parent ads can be created online or turned into the librarians. Pick
up a flyer in the library for more info.
Do you like working with children? Are you thinking about a career in
education? Do you wonder if teaching is an occupation you should
pursue? If you answered “yes” to any these questions then you should
consider participating in the Urban Teacher Academy at the College of
New Jersey this summer. The Urban Teacher Academy is an incredible
program offered each summer to high school juniors interested in
becoming teachers. Not only will participants be introduced to a
career in education on a highly respectable college campus, they will
then have the opportunity to practice their skills before even
starting senior year! An information and orientation meeting is
scheduled for Wednesday, February 1st. Come meet the Executive
Director of TCNJ’s Center for Future Educators, view a video and
listen to former participants share their experiences. Sign up with
Ms. Bozian in room 402 as soon as possible.
Registration for JSA Winter Congress is due by Tuesday, the 24th to
any of the officers. Also, there is a meeting after school Thursday.
Spring Sports will start on or around March 2nd, 2012. Permission
packets are now being accepted and may be downloaded from the district
website. Check with the nurse for updated physical eligibility.
Anyone interested in trying out for the Boys Tennis Team will need to
come to a brief meeting after school in C-1 on Wed., Jan. 25th.

The Plainsboro Food Pantry needs our help! During the entire January,
the PTSA will be collecting food and drinks for the Plainsboro Food
Pantry to help people in our own community. Students and faculty can
drop their donations in the collection box located in the library.
