Subject: News for WW1HA Members (speaker Jacqueline Winspear) & Your Oct 2012 St. Mihiel Trip-Wire

Greetings,

With our annual Armistice-Remembrance-Veterans Day commemorations approaching, I will be sending news bulletins to you on those events.  These are generally chapter based and the chapters will be handling the arrangements.

 Southwest Chapter:
 Date:  3 November
Location:  USS Texas, LA PORTE, TX
Chapter Chairman Michael Kihntopf is recruiting speakers/presenters.  Contact him at:  ki...@swbell.net

 California Joint Chapters:
 Date: 10 November
Location:  Francesco's Restaurant, Near Oakland, CA
Bestselling World War I Mystery Novelist Jacqueline Winspear and contributor to our Journal has just accepted our invitation to be our speaker.  More details will be forthcoming.

Also, your latest issue of The St. Mihiel Trip-Wire is now available for viewing at:

This month we are beginning our video review series, Before Downton Abbey, honoring earlier TV series which featured World War I sequences.  We will continue the series in October in our 10th Anniversary Issue.
