Dear colleague,
I’m pleased to send you a survey that forms an important part of a
research project we at King’s College London are conducting on behalf
of JISC’s First World War Discovery Programme.
If you teach, I would be grateful if you would take a few minutes to
fill in this survey which will allow the project to make
recommendations regarding the development of JISC’s discovery strategy
for future digitisation. The survey focuses on the use of, and demand
for, digital resources in teaching about the First World War in
schools and universities. It would be great to have the areas you work
on well-represented.
Please complete the survey by end the of February 17 in anticipation
of the focus groups which must meet in the last week of February.
(If you begin the survey with your course outlines/specifications on
hand this will speed the experience, especially if you paste from them
digitally, which the survey’s text boxes allow.)
Please do forward this email to anyone you think might be interested
in taking part in our research. Alternatively, feel free to contact
Lynelle Howson, our research assistant, with any suggestions at any
time.
