I have installed wview 5.17.3 on Synology DS107+, it is running on it
since the 1st Jan 2011 in simulator mode.
Now I am trying to start the connection with my La Crosse WS2357.
After a couple of day of tests I have the right connection between
DiskStation and Weather Station, dmesg display me that th WS is
correctly recognised and linked on /dev/ttyUSB0 but when the wviewd
(wviewd_ws2300) starts raise me following rows in the /var/log/
messages:

I solved it !!
Now I have a Synolody DS 107+ connected to the La Crosse WS2357 using
USB2Serial converter and WView installed on the NAS that harvests the
data and builds charts and webpages.
The website is actually hosted under the apache web server installed
on the DS107+ but I am doing some investigation to have information
about free hosting.
At the end of the definitive installation-set I will post here the URL
of my website.
Regards
Enrico

That's cool, nice work.  Those Synology devices sure seem useful and fun to play with.

Can you share the binary for the driver? I don't know how to cross-compile it.
