Wview has three mechanisms for user support: the Google mailing list, the forum and the Mantis issue tracking database.

For general questions, suggestions, or discussions is the mailing list or the forum preferred?

When a user suspects he has found a bug or useful suggestion, should it be submitted to the Mantis immediately, or should it be submitted to the list and/or the forum for discussion beforehand?  BTW: The connection between wview and mantis isn't easy to find; I only stumbled on it while reviewing a bunch of old emails in the mailing list.
