My html upload stopped at about 2 AM last night; while I was getting
ready to log into the Slug (wview 3.9.0 + Debian etch) I got one
upload at about 07:20 AM, then no more as of about 8 AM. Wunderground
upload works fine!

root 4020 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z 07:52 0:00
[htmlgend] <defunct>
root 4022 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z 07:52 0:00
[htmlgend] <defunct>

It appears that htmlgend is dying. Anybody have any ideas?

We are leaving soon and will be gone for a couple of months and I need
the Slug to run unattended without intervention. Unfortunately due to
my wireless broadband provider (we're out in the boonies), I don't get
a routeable IP assigned to our radio equipment, so there is zero
possibility of me being able to log into the Slug remotely (unless I
pay $25 a month for a static IP - no thanks!)

Thanks - John

Additional info:

tnftp process starts and then soon after we get two new defunct
htmlgend processes with a new time stamp.

Yet more info...

It seems the tnftp process is timing out due to a very long login wait/
delay due to my web host. I looked at the ftp config file and did not
see a way to increase the wait time - is this configurable?
