Welcome to the West Virginia Advocates' (WVA) Special Education Forum
Purpose:
The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for people to ask questions about special education in West Virginia. Questions will be answered by a WVA advocate and/or attorney.
Membership:
You must be a member to post a question on this forum. Any West Virginian may apply for membership. We ask that you provide the following information:
- Name
- County
- Child's Disability, if applicable
- Organization, if applicable
This information will be kept confidential. WVA uses this information to compile data for reporting to our federal funders. The only information that will be accessible in the posts is your email address and any information you enter into your profile. You do not have to enter any information into your profile.
Moderation:
All posts are moderated for compliance with the posting rules before being posted. The posting rules are:
- No Profanity
- No mentioning of people's names
- No mentioning of specific schools, school systems, counties, or providers
- Members will not be allowed to post responses or answers to the question of another member. Follow up questions will be allowed.
