Getting recognized does not mean getting singled out

I was just looking at a website http://www.portfolio.com that charges
for gallery space. The cost is $9.95 a month for a vinyl portfolio,
19.55 per month for a leather and 59.95 per month for a titanium. This
is for the privaledge of being listed with thousands of other artists.

At Zanografix the shows are short 30 days and only concentrate on 15
artists at most. The reason for this is to get people to look at the
individual artist. I don't charge a thing for artists posting in the
gallery. The traffic their work brings to the site is payment enough.

Take the time to look at the work in a slideshow In the future
whitepage listing at zanografix will mean one large graphic and
documentation. The sales price and ebay info as well as the mailbox. I
am willing to work with individual artists but the main point of
gallery submission can't be lost in the sauce by thousands of
submissions.
