Software website and onto Google Groups. Google Groups should provide

Another problem with SimpleText mac client

When trying to sync with SimpleText mac client, the program always
freezes and does not sync. In the console the following message
appears and repeats itself adding a new number 1 in the end with every
iteration:

Emailing documents directly from Writeroom.iphone

I threw together a message in Writewroom.iphone this morning and
emailed it to myself (I just wanted a reminder).
The email never made it to my in box.
The writeroom document only contained 148 words (ie, not enough to
break things).

I'm using WriteRoom with Text Expander to report baseball play-by-
play. Text Expander is working great and after I write the info for
each half inning I copy/paste it into a public message board. Problem
is, the entry on the message board has * for each space between
words.
Thoughts on how to fix this?... more »

Crashes when pasting large text clips

I have noticed WR crashes every time I try and paste a large amount of
text at once (over s page). I tried to paste the same text in Apple's
Notes app, and I had no problem pasting there. Is this a known bug,
and if so is a fix on the way?

Problem with SimpleText desktop app

I have the same problem already reported: when I innitiate the
syncing, the app will freeze and no syncing occurs. I have to kill the
process.
No slowing of the computer occurs, no spinning ball either. Only all
the options on the menu app turn into gray. I am working in a 2008
iMac running Leopard.... more »

Character encoding incompatibility between desktop and iPhone

I notice that the character encodings on documents from WR.iPhone do
not seem to be compatible with the desktop version when synced via
SimpleText.ws. Here is a screen shot of the Wi-Fi sharing doc that
comes with the app:

The last version had the ability to view the list of notes in
landscape mode but now it's gone. Any way to restore this?

can i disable the password requirement on app startup?

I understand why so many people want a password dialogue on
application startup, but it is the biggest thing turning me off about
this app at the moment. I take a lot of notes in meetings, and
throughout the day while people are speaking to me or I'm on the

Searchability (ala Notes & other iPhone Apps)

When you slide left from the main screen on the iPhone, you get
presented with a search dialogue.
A lot of apps I use (including Notes) somehow store a search index in
this area.
I've replaced my usage of Notes with WriteRoom, as I think it's much
better, but I'd love to lodge this as a feature request!... more »

WriteRoom and TextExpander Preferences

I updated TextExpander on the iPod and turned the expansion sound off.
Will there be an update to WriteRoom to turn the expander sound off in
WriteRoom as well?
