I try to develop my software in the open so that you can see what I'm
working on and make suggestions. I do this by providing downloads of
"in progress" work. I call these downloads "Development Releases".
These are different then beta releases because they are more general.

How can one set the default character set for opening and/or saving
files in WriteRoom?
On open, I'm aware I can do File->Reload with encoding->whatever, but
it's a significant
hassle to have to do that for every file (or a very large subset,

Please HELP? I stupidly set the following WRITEROOM HOTKEYS up on
installation & need to disable them immediately:
shift + o for open inbox
shift + q for open quickjot
Obviously I did not realise that these hotkeys would be universal -
i.e. I cannot type ANYTHING with capital O or Q in any other program... more »

I got WriteRoom from McHeist and got the serial number; however, when
I try to access help, I am asked for $3. Not sure why. Can someone

I just loaded WriteRoom. It has some feature in the menu bar for
opening a scripts folder. But no scripts were installed. Should I
have expected WriteRoom to install some scripts? If so, what were
they supposed to do?

Hello,
Has anyone got tips for a workflow between WriteRoom and Posterous?
Is there a script or something to post what I have written in
writeroom straight to posterous or is this a cut and paste type of
operation? Any advice or example workflows would be appreciated.
