  Whoops, &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I wrote without thinking/looking. The third southbound lane is more &lt;br&gt; of a right turn onto Rosyln and River, and left turns onto Roslyn are &lt;br&gt; only allowed off peak. Makes the traffic count information more &lt;br&gt; valuable/interesting. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Mark

  The third lane is really a stacking lane for traffic turning left onto &lt;br&gt; Roslyn.  Apparently the original idea was to add a third Northbound &lt;br&gt; lane to allow for left turns onto Mostyn, and that is why there is such a &lt;br&gt; wide median.  The Roslyn intersection is within the bounds of the &lt;br&gt; project, so I should ask for number on turning, etc.  It would be a

  Mark, &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;*Is there any explanation as to why there are currently 3 lanes southbound, &lt;br&gt; but only 2 north bound? &lt;br&gt; * &lt;br&gt; I&#39;m no traffic engineer, but it would seem to me that southbound lane must &lt;br&gt; not really needed: &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;If there are always 50% more people traveling south in this location, &lt;br&gt; wouldn&#39;t the northern half of Winnipeg be emptied out by now? : )
