Welcome to the future of cycling in Downtown Winnipeg. We want to identify problems and find their solutions to eliminate barriers and to create a paradise for people who choose cycling as a fun, healthy and sustainable form of transportation. This "Google Group" was created to keep an open dialogue, to keep a record of our progress and to share important information relevant to our area.

Neighbourhood Cycling stewardship groups throughout the city have been pointing
out specific locations areas where relatively simple changes in
infrastructure design will make a big difference. The list is being
used by the City of Winnipeg's Active Transportation Advisory Committee
to identify, prioritize and implement on-the-ground changes.
The latest updated list is posted here: http://www.onegreencity.com/version2.0/spotfixes_updated.xls
Thanks to you, it is an excellent source of ideas and solutions and
offers warnings of areas to avoid. New additions are encouraged. Please
post your idea to the appropriate area's group and it will be added. (
