Passing a line of cars...

cars to get by. At one end is a 4-way stop, then beyond is a traffic
light, so there's always a line up at rush hour.
Is it legal for someone who is 'stuck' in that line to start to pass all
the other cars, so that they might turn left at the 4-way (while most
other cars would be going straight).
To me, it's a major asshole thing to do, you need to wait in line like
everyone else, and THEN at the 4-way, you take action to turn.
Anyways, almost got creamed by a idiot in a Jeep who drove half the
block so he could jump the line, and it makes me mad.
While I would pass a car if they were stopped to let someone out, I sure
wouldn't pass 20 cars because the line is there because of traffic
control devices... would be different if it was a stalled car or
something out of the ordinary. Grumble.

No, and the cop that sits on harrow during rush hour gives out tickets to all
that do it.
