So they captured Winnipeg well then?
Look on the right - a bunch of cars in front of Aquarius. Then move forward
a bit - all gone! I guess they saw Google coming :-)
(also notice the trees suddenly have leaves on them after you move forward?)
On most cross-streets you can identify moving in one direction or the
other which corresponded with the image you're looking at.
There are some odd exceptions though. One cross street in Calgary shows
they drove a certain direction on parade day, going another direction a
different day +/- a few weeks (based on weather and other clues), but
the dead center of the intersection is months later (fall, instead of
summer)
Odd, but there was probably something wrong with both the images on the
first couple passes and the Google car was still in the city.
You don't have to go as far as Calgary.
Here in Winnipeg travel along Kingsway until you intersect Queenston,
where for one brief moment you go from summer to winter (or at least
spring) and then back to summer again.
