Subject: Windows Phone Stack Exchange Proposal

Hey all,
Just wanted to give a heads up that there is a Windows Phone StackExchange<http://area51.stackexchange.com/proposals/20757/windows-phone?referre...> site currently in the commitment phase. Check it out if you think this is interesting to join.

Hi Mike,

>>>> both users and developers

I agreed with Helen's comment.

I doubt it's a good idea to target both developers and users - they are
very different communities. That's why, for example, there's Stack
Overflow<http://stackoverflow.com/> for
developers and Super User <http://superuser.com/> for users, instead of a
single Q/A site for both.

>>both Windows Mobile and Windows Phone 7

Honestly, I have no plan to do anything with Windows Mobile so I don't
think it's good idea to combine both. :)

Thanks and Best Regards,
Michael Sync

Yes I also agree that it doesn't make sense to target both groups in one umbrella nor to include WM6.x in the mix. It looks like the goal of the group has shifted to be more prosumer oriented.
