I just got a really cool G19 keyboard for Xmas.  It also comes with an SDK and found someone who already wrote a wrapper for it in .NET!  I hacked up my Silverlight->WPF renderer and got it working on the keyboard!  Here's a video of it in action.  The screen is only 320x240, so some of the screen is cropped.  I'm thinking this could be a cool way to make rich apps for this thing.  I wonder if Windows SideShow can handle it...

Happy Holidays,

-Jer

If crazy is a good thing, then thanks! ;)

I think I'll eventually add a library to my project to simplify
writing SL apps for the keyboard. Right now I'm just exploring
different things. Might attempt SL in XNA next.

In our world, crazy is definitely a compliment, especially when related to coding on a xmas day ;)

Cheers,

Okay...you're like one of those guys who answers the question "why did you climb Mt. Everest?" with "Because it's there". Remember those programmable lcd buttons? Maybe you could put SL on them next :D

Seasons greeting man!

I think I'm more of one of those guys who you only invite to a party to do stupid human tricks.
