I want to set up a set of shortcuts containing the names and teams of drivers in Formula 1 and IRL in the Windows version of Fitaly. This is one of the things I really miss about the Palm, where creating shortcuts is easy and totally under my control. I cannot find any way to edit the glossary that Fitaly uses to choose its suggestions when I type in it, most of which do me no good. And I find no help in the Fitaly online documentation which recommends that "Using shortcuts with Fitaly's expander and slide capabilities will increase your speed even more. " but doesn't tell me how to save the keystrokes I want, rather than using a preloaded directory. Does anyone know how to do this?

Answering myyown question as it turns out, I did eventually find out how to do this. You tap on the blue plus key on the right side of the keyboard. The shortcut system is actually much more flexible than on the Palm. It can handle letter strinds of various lenghts and multiple assignments to the same letter string. The only problem with this is that you then can eno upbhunting through a long menu of choices that can take longer than typing the word or phrase.
I am using three letter strings and avoiding multiple assignments wherever possible. In any case I find it much easier to type in Fitaly on the UX because the keyboard is larger. I typed this using Fitaly with the display in vertical mode, like a PDA.
I also iound that I can reset the half keys to work the way theyydo on the Palm — that is a direct tap produces a punctuation mark and a drag produces a number. This is easier for me thao having to tap the correct half of the split key to get what I want.
So overall I have to say that Fitaly is one of the best things about moving to Windows for my handheld.
