Two encouraging stories

I came across a couple of positive smartphone stories this morning, that
cheered me up for a few minutes.

Palm attempts to be more developer-friendly, and also announces that it
will wave fees for open source developers. Looks like they'll still
charge you $50 for each FLOSS Pre app you want to list, though.

Android is finally coming to Verizon!

I figured this would take a lot longer. It will be interesting to see
how Verizon attempts to cripple these phones.
