Subject: Microsoft prices new Zune below that of comparable iPods

I just saw this news story:

http://tech.yahoo.com/news/nm/20090813/tc_nm/us_microsoft_zune_6

Microsoft is pricing the new Zunes to make them very attractive, $50 or more
(US) lower than the equivalent Apple systems. The 64 GB model would be just
about the right size for me. If they had released these back in June I might
have bought one rather than a new iPod when my old one died.

Does anyone have experience with the Zune? What do you think of it? How hard
is it to move music, etc., from an iPod to a Zune?

Just more idle questions -- I won't replace the iPod I now have until its
hard drive dies, probably in about two years, by which time the market will
have changed considerably.

All the best,
