* Mutant (from UT04):
The player who makes the first frag becomes the mutant and is
immediately equipped with all weapons, extra ammo, invisibility,
agility and berserk. However, the mutant's health slowly decreases
and can only be replenished by fragging other players. Once there
is a "mutant," all other players are charged with hunting him down.
Points are scored only by the mutant when they frag other players.
As an optional twist, the player with the lowest score becomes the
BottomFeeder -- he can frag other players who are not the mutant and
receive points. As soon as his score isn't the lowest, a new player
becomes the BottomFeeder.
* Paint Ball:
An enemy can be killed with a single shot, but you only have a
very limited selection of weapons. This should emphasize the
tactical aspects of WoP and could be combined with any other
game mode.
* Capture the Flag: No need to explain that, I guess, except
that it could also be "Capture the Ball" in the WoP context.
Most of these game modes could also be played in teams, so I'm
not sure yet, how to implement the selection of a game mode.
Maybe we have to think about an orthogonal set of game modes
(Deathmatch, Mutant, CtF, ...) and specify so-called "twists"
(Teamplay, Balls'n Goals, Paint Ball, ...) which can/must be
added to some of these game modes.
A nice side effect would be that we end up with a gazillion
of final game modes. ;-)

WOP seems to be coming up great!
My most desperate wish? RIFLE! something with a laser pointer that kills
with one hit, but obviously its hard to use because aiming is difficult.
Same concept from Liero pro mode.
What do you reckon? Would this be acceptable?
