Hello, I'm a high school computer science student in Texas. Today, myself and a number of other comp sci students went to a UIL academics competition (basically a competition between schools in every subject imaginable, including simple written tests over math and science and more specialized events like competitive speech, debate, headline writing, etc). This sort of competition goes on all day, and the computer science teams were left alone with a wireless router and a bunch of laptops for a number of hours.
I stumbled onto Worms of Prey a week ago on one of my Linux distribution (Arch Linux)'s package repositories. I installed it, played around with it a bit, downloaded the Windows client (from a third party site, I should mention that both download links on your site are broken), and brought it along with me.
It was a bit glitchy, but even students that don't normally enjoy video games had a blast playing Worms of Prey, and we soon ran out of computers. It was a huge success. The game you've made here, while it's rough around the edges, has great potential.
That said, I checked back on the project site today, and it looks... dead. I don't know if this is the case, but the last news item on the home page is two years old. Is this project maintained?
